Opposite to the hallux valgus, it is a deviation towards the inside of the big toe.
The main cause is an excess of correction, during the surgical cure of a hallux valgus; but there can also be congenital causes, post-traumatic, during rheumatoid arthritis, or other autoimmune diseases.
It manifests itself essentially by a discomfort at the shoes wearing, then by a stiffness. According to the cases a surgical gesture can be proposed.
